Jonah is a ten years old and was recently diagnosed with leukemia. He has a type of leukemia known as ALL. Jonah attends Beechwood School during the school year. He enjoys playing sports like soccer, baseball, and basketball. He loves to play outside, but also enjoys playing video games with his friends. He also enjoys reading a good book and eating mac and cheese.

As a way to show support, community members have come together to host a benefit for Jonah and his family. Our goal is to raise funds to help the family defray costs of treatment.

“Smiles for Jonah” will take place on:

Saturday, August 27, 2011 at Beechwood Swim Club from 7:00 p.m. til 11:00 p.m. Rain date – Sunday, August 28 from 5-9 p.m.
Tickets can be purchased for $30 for a family – online at www.cincyticket.com or $25 via check by contacting Kelly Harper @ kamharper@yahoo.com or $35 at the door. (Make checks out to Smiles for Jonah.)
Carnival Theme with activities for kids. $5 braclet for evening (for kids 12 and under).
Pool open til 10 p.m.
Live Music performed by Kruzad and the Growlers.
Silent Auction and Raffle prizes.
Pizza for $1 and other concessions will be available.
Coolers allowed but no bottles or glass.
